A fine afternoon gallivanting around Milan’s Quadrilatero della Moda (fashion district): Via Montenapoleone, Via della Spiga, and Via Manzoni.
Soaking up the Alta Moda vibe in Milan can be therapeutic and cleansing to the fashionista’s soul. However, too much of it could also result to a different kind of cleansing – one’s bank account! There are so many shops here, and most are expensive, luxury/high-end labels. But if you’re like me who enjoys a bargain, a little tour at the back alleys opens up to a world where luxury items cost half their original prices. There are things that you just have to pay full price, but a trip to consignment and vintage shops, especially in fashion cities like Milan (where fine clothes are in abundance) is one I highly recommend.
